Forgot the Drupal User 1 password?

After a long day of work and more work I decided to do a little more work and was in the middle of some web development on a new client's site. I was NOT able to access the back end as user1.
The problem was not the username that I was provided, I know it was fine because I could see the name in the database table. It was the password that was giving me trouble....

So I sent an email to the original developer, who just happens to be ultra cool and helpful. I figured I'd hear back in short order and be on my way working on the site.

Imagine my shock when he did not give me the password.

There was no password on the email...

There was only a link, http://drupal.org/node/68286

What the heck! am I going to do! with a link?
As it turns out... A LOT!

You see this guy didn't just give me the password, o-no, he is much better, quicker, and smarter than that. He gave me something better...
